Tapas - a sharing experience
The tapas of Spanish cuisine encompass a simple idea – we love to eat together. This is something true to our Romanian ancestry as well, since sharing food bites has been a staple of our cultures since times immemorial, we just never had a name for it. Same goes for the oriental dishes we adopted in our cuisine, the core is the same. Sharing a meal is an act of joy for us all.

You understand the true value of a corkscrew once it's missing. That moment in a family & friends gathering when everyone wants to raise a glass of wine for the good times and no one can open the bottle.
Have you tried opening that bottle without a corkscrew - it's hard... might be funny, might ruin everyone's mood or even end up in breaking & loosing a really good wine.
We've been drinking wine around here since times immemorial, yet everything got better once we discovered aging it in bottles.
The corkscrew is the party starter. The incognito conversation fueler.
Job well done, rest and wait for the next. It's definitely a piece worth investing in and having around for years...maybe even pass it down your lineage as an amulet of good times.
We host a valuable, private collection of corkscrews in the private dining area that you can admire when you visit us.

Honoring the past
Our space went under a profound revitalization and modernization process. We started out with this beautiful building in Amzei area, a Beaux-Arts jewel left to decay - no longer!
The architecture & renovation team made it possible to experience a forgotten space in a contemporary context. The upgrade on the space, exterior, interior & garden, supports by functionality the current developing vibe of the neighborhood - hospitality, creative arts, eclectic gastronomy and cultural infusions.
What we find in numerous historic records on this area tell a similar story. Calea Victoriei was also known decades ago as a vivid area, teeming with interesting humans, filled with spirit and hospitality.
We honor the past in hospitality, gastronomy and core values, but we live fully in the future, crafting a novel approach on everything history brought us, taught us and left us.

Design of the future
Our yard is a serene gift to the fervent vibe of the street outside. This introverted oasis hides behind an antique, discreet door, opening up to a surprisingly fresh venue.
Our drive behind this project was to use the historic elements to their fullest potential by recycling, repurposing and restoring as much as we could.
The building was a diamond in the rough - we tore down walls and layers of paint, unveiling gorgeous arches and bricks. We aimed to maximize the perception of space and the inflow of natural light.
The objects that complete the space have their own story and personality and they have a thing to say about reducing waste, repurposing the old and creatively blend in the new.
